Choose from the Abet Laminati Lamishield range, and Formica Infiniti by Formica, which both use Biocote technology. Or any Polyrey finish, which use Sanitized technology. We also offer painted finishes with antibacterial surface properties which can be added to any metal work or surface within your product too.
How can a furniture finish be antimicrobial?
The material ranges mentioned above, are treated with an additive during the manufacturing process. This coating adds antimicrobial protection to the decorative layer of the board; helping to keep the risk of infection and illnesses spread by cross-contamination to a minimum. The coating, which takes advantage of silver’s natural protective properties, kills microbes on the surface, and interferes with their DNA.
